The 3 Most Underrated Disney Snacks

I wanted to give a special nod to the Disney snacks that tend to get overlooked due to their more popular competitors. Let's give these Disney snacks the recognition they deserve!

1.  Disney Pretzels

Now the classic Mickey shaped pretzel is a staple and a fan favorite, for sure.  Thats not the one I'm talking about.  I'm talking about the two other choices that some people have never even heard of!  One of them being the Pepper Jack Pretzel.  It has a crisped asiago cheese outer layer to add some crunch, and soft melted pepper jack cheese inside that you taste with every bite!  You can ONLY get this at the Magic Kingdom, either at the Lunching Pad or sometimes the pretzel carts in Frontierland and Adventureland.  Its so good and a great alternative to the original pretzel, if you still want something savory.

Now on the sweeter side of things, you can also get a pretzel with a sweet cream cheese filling.  Makes for such a great dessert or afternoon snack!  The Sweet Cream Cheese pretzel is only at Hollywood Studios at the pretzel cart near Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway or sometimes the one by Rock n Rollercoaster.  I highly suggest you give both of these a try on your next trip!

2. Dole Whip

Again, not the original one that everyone raves about!  And no, not the one with coconut rum either.  Although both options are fantastic, my favorite can only be found at Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian resort.  It is the pineapple-vanilla swirl.  It's such a great combination because the pineapple flavor is still there, just a little more subtle.  The tropical fruity-ness pairs perfectly with the sweet vanilla soft serve mixed in.  They have regular dole whip available too, if that's your style.  And you can get either one made as a float with pineapple juice!  Talk about paradise.  Even if you aren't staying at the Poly, just hop on a monorail over from the Magic Kingdom.

3. The American Dream

I would describe the American Dream as a slushy/milkshake.  Stay with me though.  It's actually extremely good and so refreshing on a hot Florida day!  It is a blue raspberry and cherry slushy layered with vanilla ice cream.  It may sound odd but I promise it tastes great!  Not to mention it looks pretty!  You can only find this at the America Pavilion in Epcot.

What do you think?  Have you tried any of these or plan to on your next visit?  I'd love to know what you think are the best underrated Disney snacks.  I'm always looking to try new things.
